Lissett Windfarm
The
design of this small windfarm on a former RAF airfield in the East
Riding of Yorkshire consists of two simple curving arrays of turbines
that are aligned roughly north-south. Within each array, turbines are
equally spaced. The effect of this is to create a very simple, well
balanced image in almost all views of the development, including those
seen from greater distances.
The development was granted planning consent 22 February 2007.
